Adventure Summer Camp is a day, not overnight camp. We do not
provide housing for counselors.
Counselors needed for day
camp for individuals with developmental disabilities in Santa Barbara.
Camp runs August 3-August 21 weekdays from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:
Counselors with the Happy
Adventure Camp will be:
- Responsible for the
camper(s) assigned to him/her as per each day's schedule. Either a 1-1
or a 1-2 ratio.
- Assisting campers in
self-help skills, including, but not limited to dressing/undressing,
toileting, feeding, hygiene.
- Following the
activities schedule at all times.
- Helping pack/load/clean
the daily camp site on arrival and prior to departure.
Qualifications:
Counselors must be at
least 18 years old, complete the Cornerstone training program, undergo a
criminal clearance records check, and submit the results of a TB test.
Experience with persons with developmental disabilities desirable. First
Aid and CPR desirable.
