We offer participants
the opportunity to enjoy creative activities designed to enhance their
social and recreational skills.
The camp is designed specifically
for children and young adults with physical disabilities.
staff-to-camper ratio is 1-2, and in some cases 1-1.
Operated by Cornerstone House of Santa Barbara, the
Happy Adventure Camp is committed to providing severely disabled
children with the opportunity to experience the joys of summer
camp. Staff is specially trained to work with G-tubes, seizures
& medication administration.
Requirements
Campers must be at
least five years old. The camp
is a day program; parents or caregivers will be expected to provide
transportation to and from camp weekdays.
Cost
Cost: $120.000 per one-week
session. Financial
assistance is available.
